Expected delivery: 3-6 weeks, try it out in our Showroom, Centro Nordico Mijas. The Drop™ chair draws inspiration from the feeling of an embrace, but it has also been designed for freedom of movement; creating a unique sense of comfort. Designed by Arne Jacobsen, it was originally created for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen before being relaunched in 2014. It is said to be Jacobsen’s favorite chair among his many designs.
It is said that as a child growing up in Copenhagen, Arne Jacobsen painted over the Victorian wallpaper in his bedroom. But young Arne did not cover his walls with typical childish drawings or paint the ornate wallpaper boyish blue. Instead, he decided to paint his room entirely white. His decision may seem commonplace today, but in the early twentieth century white walls were not yet in fashion. From the very beginning, Arne Jacobsen was ahead of his time.

Your order will be shipped via our courier partner or delivery team depending on the size, weight and/or fragility of your order. If your order exceeds the dimensions/weight restrictions of our courier service, our delivery team will be in touch to arrange delivery with you.
We aim to dispatch all in-stock orders placed before 1pm the same day, on a next working day delivery service.
